Abortion is a Right

After the Roe v. Wade draft decision leak on May 2nd, it became increasingly apparent that we have to support abortion funds across the country. In my city, Chicago, we are nearby states that have "trigger laws" that will immediately criminalize abortion without federal protection.

Both organizations, including the Chicago Abortion Fund and the Women's Medical Fund based in Madison, WI are widely known for providing services and helping particularly low-income women gain access to lifesaving medical treatment and safe abortion services in and around the localities to which they serve. The Women's Medical Fund is the oldest fund that exists in the United States, ensuring abortion access since 1972, and with Wisconsin having some of the strictest abortion laws in the country, this fund proves even more critical.
