In the wake of the devastating Eaton Canyon Fire, Avery Colvert, an eighth-grader at Eliot Arts Magnet in Altadena, CA, saw the girls in her community struggling—not just with what they’d lost, but with the invisible weight of uncertainty, isolation, and shame. She knew they needed more than a temporary landing spot at the shelter—they needed hope, dignity, and a path to feeling whole again.
Altadena Girls was formed to help girls who lost everything in the fire rebuild their lives, their confidence, and regain their spark. 🌟
We are currently focused on providing the essentials: clothes, personal items, beauty products, and hair care. These everyday things might seem small, but for these girls, they’re priceless when it comes to feeling seen, supported, and ready to take on life again.
Here’s how your donation makes a difference:
✨ Provide real, tangible items to help girls feel like themselves, cared for, and confident
✨ Restore and offer a moment of joy, confidence, and a sense of normalcy.
✨ Build toward lasting support for those who need it most.
Every dollar matters—whether it’s $5 or $50, you’re helping to make a huge impact in these girls lives.
Let’s show our Altadena Girls that they’re not alone! 💖
Thank you for donating and spreading the word. You’ve got this—and so do they!
