#PledgeTo End Gun Violence

In the wake of the surmounting number of mass shootings, we are here to pledge our support to the end of these senseless tragedies. So far in 2022, there have already been 232 mass shootings, including the recent shootings in Buffalo and Uvalde, Texas that left 19 children & two teachers dead. And according to Everytown, more than 110 people in the United States are killed with guns every day. 

We have set up this fundraiser to support the victims of these acts of violence and empower the nonprofit organizations with tangible influence at local, state, and federal levels working to prevent future tragedies due to gun violence in America. 

Funds raised here will go directly towards the following efforts:

• Everytown for Gun Safety Support Fund - This is the education, research, and litigation arm of Everytown for Gun Safety, the largest gun violence prevention organization in the country. This fund will conduct original research, develop evidence-based policies, communicate this knowledge to the American public, and advance gun safety and gun violence prevention in communities and the court.

• Sandy Hook Promise Foundation - A national nonprofit founded and led by family members whose loved ones were killed at Sandy Hook Elementary School in 2012. Based in Newtown, Connecticut, their intent is to honor all victims of gun violence by turning tragedy into a moment of transformation. By empowering youth to “know the signs” and uniting all people who value the protection of children, they take meaningful actions in schools, homes, and communities to prevent gun violence and stop the tragic loss of life.

• The Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence - Brady is one of the oldest and boldest, survivor led gun violence prevention organization. They approach this gun violence epidemic with a multifaceted approach, from the supply side of the gun industry to the gun lobby's deadly influence on Congress. By supporting their work to reform gun laws, hold gun manufacturers accountable, and raise awareness around the dangers of firearms in the home, you'll help keep weapons of war off our streets and save lives.

• Uvalde Strong Survivors Fund - The National Compassion Fund is partnered with the San Antonio Area Foundation to administer the Uvalde Strong Survivors Fund. Uvalde Strong Survivors Fund will provide direct financial assistance to the survivors of the deceased and those directly affected by this tragedy. One hundred percent (100%) of the contributions donated to this fund will go directly to victims and survivors.
