Help us reach our initial fundraising goal of $1,500 to work towards establishing a safe, permanent sanctuary for three beautiful, older Arabian mares in need of a forever home.

These sweet mares are coming from a home where their owner can no longer afford to care for them. Efforts to find homes for them have so far come up empty, and time is running out to give them Sanctuary! They require specialized care and feed to thrive. Your contribution helps us keep these horses out of the auction pipeline, ensuring their twilight years are spent in comfort and safety.

Our Goal: $1,500

Here’s how your donation helps us care for these special girls:

$50 helps us establish a fund for boarding costs

$30 provides a bag of specialized feed.

$20 covers a horse's winter worming costs.

$15 supports travel costs for our dedicated volunteers, some of whom travel long distances to help with the horses.

About Us

We provide community-based assistance to families in crisis who need help caring for their pets. Through volunteer coordination, assistance with basic animal expenses, and rehoming support, we create a safety net for both animals and their humans.

We started this work when a friend of a friend faced a personal health crisis and could no longer care for her herd of mares. A team of horse women stepped in to help, and we realized the critical need to prevent horses from entering the auction pipeline. Having successfully rehomed half the herd, we are now extending our work to help others and build a small sanctuary for elderly animals with no other options.
