We are honored to announce the creation of the Tara Lynn Orlowski, Ed.D. Fund, established to celebrate the life, service, and legacy of Dr. Tara Lynn Orlowski, a dedicated NARA member, committee chair, and past Board President.

Tara was a passionate advocate for regulatory excellence and professional development within the human care licensing field. Her leadership and commitment to elevating the profession left a lasting impact on our community.

 The Tara Lynn Orlowski, Ed.D. Fund is a restricted-use fund that will be used to support the licensing and regulatory field by providing recognition and professional development opportunities in alignment with Tara’s values and contributions. These include:

Promising Practices Awards:

• Up to three awards annually to individuals or agencies demonstrating innovative, evidence-based, and cost-effective regulatory practices, in accordance with the NARA Promising Practice program guidelines.
  
  
• Annual Licensing Seminar Scholarship
  • One complimentary Seminar registration per year.
  • Travel and lodging support may also be available based on demonstrated need and available funding.

The fund will be administered at the discretion of the Executive Director and CEO, and governed by policies approved by the NARA Board of Directors.
