Healthcare for Homeless Animals is a community-based, all volunteer organization. Volunteers foster animals in their homes, transport them to veterinary appointments, and oversee their care while at the shelter. Volunteers receive no compensation for their time and effort other than the gratitude of the homeless pets they care for.
Much of this work would not be possible without the support of two extraordinary groups: those local veterinarians who provide their services at discounted rates, and the members of the public who so generously donate their time and money.
