Pickleball Rally for Charity 2021

Celebrating the Guinness World Records® Longest Pickleball Rally for Charity

Pickleball Rally for Charity 2021 is a new version of an annual Tennis Rally for Charity event conceived by identical twins, Angelo and Ettore Rossetti, collectively known as "the Rossetti Brothers." In celebration of setting a new Guinness World Records® title for the Longest pickleball rally of 16,046 shots, the brothers are raising funds and awareness for Save the Children. The feat took 6 hours and 11 minutes to accomplish at the Tennis & Fitness Center of Rocky Hill as part of World Mental Health Day on October 10, 2021. The charity event benefits Save the Children among other worthy causes while raising awareness the charity and the sport of pickleball as a sport of all ages. Pickleball is America's fastest growing sport. Guinness World Records™ Ltd. set the mark at 15,000 consecutive shots in order to earn the title. The Rossetti Brothers eclipsed the record by over 1,000 shots. This figure is symbolic of the daily child mortality figure: Every day, 15,000 children under age 5 die from preventable causes, such as pneumonia, malnutrition, and Malaria.
