The Sports Museum is a nonprofit organization located in TD Garden. Not only do we have a museum in TD Garden with a half-mile of exhibits, but we also have two great education programs, Boston vs. Bullies and Stand Strong.
Boston vs. Bullies is a bullying prevention program that uses the power and platform of sports to prevent bullying in our schools and communities at large. So far, we've had 125,000 kids participate in the program (over 25,000 kids this year have experienced the program virtually)!
Stand Strong is a 12-week Social Emotional Learning program which leverages the power of sports to help pre-teens build strong character by discovering and practicing five (5) core values: Teamwork, Fairness, Courage, Determination, and Responsibility.
The Stand Strong program integrates on-site lessons about core values with activities and field trips that encourage students to practice and put into action what they have learned.
All proceeds from The Tradition, which is premiering on NESN on Wednesday, December 16th, go towards our education programs so we can continue to provide both free of charge to kids throughout New England.
