Ryman Arts transforms lives by creating access and opportunity for a diverse community of young artists through rigorous education in fundamental art skills and mentoring.Since 1990, Ryman Arts has empowered over 36,000 creative, promising youth across Southern California through its core program, outreach, and community engagement efforts. Now serving 500-600 students annually, this free, 1½-year-long, out-of-school program integrates rigorous fine arts instruction, college and career counseling, mentoring, and supportive services for talented young artists with limited opportunities. Ryman Arts students complete the program ready to meet the challenges of college, work, and life in the 21st century.
