Our Story: The Inspiration Behind Project Milo
Project Milo began with a little dachshund named Milo and a family who refused to give up hope. When Milo was diagnosed with Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD), we were overwhelmed—by fear, by decisions, by the uncertainty ahead. Through research, trial and error, and support from others, we found a way forward. Milo’s courage—and the love and knowledge we gained—became the heart of this project.
We realized that no one should have to navigate IVDD alone. That’s why Project Milo exists: to share practical resources, create a welcoming community, and tell stories of resilience for every family facing this journey.
