Together Inspiration Acts is a 501(c)3, Not-for-profit Organization that promotes the health, safety and well-being of women, their children and the communities that support them. We carry out our mission by inspiring skilled professionals to engage with the community through direct outreach, media, campaign, advocacy, philanthropy, health awareness, and civil responsibility.
Our current efforts support Arise BIPOC Midwife!, a Pinning Ceremony for BIPOC Student Midwives that spans across all genres of midwifery and across all academic and training programs.
Arise BIPOC Midwife seeks to diversify midwifery with intentionality by improving student retention due to lack of connection during the learning experience. The ceremony is an affair where future BIPOC midwives commit to their personal journeys while being guided by the altruistic blessings of current BIPOC Midwives. Our collective participation with others leads to a deeper camaraderie that we may not find within our educational institutions.
