Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA), a congressionally chartered veterans service organization founded in 1946, has developed a unique expertise on a wide variety of issues involving the special needs of our members veterans of the armed forces who have experienced spinal cord injury or dysfunction. PVA will use that expertise to be the leading advocate for: - Quality health care for our members - Research and education addressing spinal cord injury and dysfunction - Benefits available as a result of our members military service - Civil rights and opportunities which maximize the independence of our members and all people with disabilities. For more than 60 years, PVA has fought for our veterans who answered the call when our nation asked for their service . . . and in return, they have given up their freedoms to protect ours.

Soldier On is a 501(c)(3) private non-profit organization dedicated to ending homelessness among veterans. Since 1994, we have provided transitional and emergency housing alongside critical supportive services - case management, medical and dental care coordination, mental health and addiction treatment, financial literacy education, food and transportation assistance. For more than three decades, Soldier On has been "Changing the End of The Story" for veterans who are homeless or at risk of homelessness by delivering and coordinating an extensive continuum of housing and support services. To reach veterans where they are, Soldier On operated a mobile, door-to-door outreach program through Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF), service veterans and their families across Delaware, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. Since 2011, nearly 40,000 veterans have received case manager, referrals, and temporary financial assistance to help stabilize their housing. Across our affordable housing communities, Soldier On currently provides housing with wraparound support services for 525 veterans across the northeast. Soldier On promotes long-term stability through on-site supportive services, transportation assistance, wellness services, legal support, and end-of-life coordination among many more ancillary services. The mission of Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) is to honor and empower wounded warriors. The organization's vision is to foster the most successful, well-adjusted generation of injured service members in our nation’s history, by CONNECTING, SERVING, and EMPOWERING the wounded men and women who so bravely volunteered to serve our nation on or after the events of September 11, 2001. They CONNECT warriors, their families, and caregivers to peers, programs, and communities to ensure they have a readily available network of support. SERVE by providing free mental and physical health and wellness programs, career and benefits counseling, and by providing ongoing support for the most severely injured. And EMPOWER warriors to live life on their own terms, mentor fellow veterans and service members, and embody the WWP logo by carrying one another on a path toward recovery. Today, more than 110,000 wounded warriors and 26,000 family support members and caregivers are registered with WWP and have access to free programs and services that CONNECT, SERVE, and EMPOWER.
