The organization serves as MUSC’s technology‑transfer and commercialization arm — managing, marketing and licensing intellectual property and supporting the university’s research, education and healthcare missions so discoveries can be developed into products, services, and economic activity that benefit the public. It also supports collaboration between MUSC and industry to move innovations toward clinical and commercial use.
