The mission of the Chicago Yacht Club Foundation, a 501 (c)(3) tax exempt organization, is to promote an awareness and appreciation of the nautical arts and traditions to the Chicagoland community through education, outreach and activities, as well as through the support of like-minded charitable organizations. The Foundation also offers grants in aid in three categories: Sailing Education, Regatta and Clinic Participation, and Maritime Organization Grants.
