An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. SoCal Family Mediation has been disrupting the path of kids to foster care housing, keeping kids safer, and getting kids home, since 2014.
Our Agreement with the Los Angeles County Dependency Courts (when a child has been hurt or neglected) empowers us to help co-parents (have kids but don’t live together) negotiate their own customized Parenting Plan (visitation schedule, exchanges, holidays). As a result of success rates sometimes exceeding 90%, we continue to improve and expand our California Judicial Counsel-approved education program for: mediators, families, communities, and anyone who wants to learn to deal with their conflicts more successfully and less hurtfully.
