Welcome to the 2nd Annual Serve For A Good Turn Tennis Mixer — a casual evening tennis event at Inverness Country Club Tennis Center dedicated to supporting the For A Good Turn Foundation. Join us for an evening of tennis, camaraderie, and community spirit as we come together to champion a cause that brings transformative change one good turn at a time.

At the heart of this event is the inspiring For A Good Turn Foundation, an organization devoted to cultivating a community where kindness is contagious. By championing the 'pay it forward' philosophy, the Foundation believes that specific and intentional good deeds can set off a powerful chain reaction of generosity, positivity, and perseverance.

Inspired by the life and legacy of Peter Thomas Hodo IV, who despite surviving a traumatic brain injury (TBI) continued to serve people in need thought random acts of kindness during his recovery. The Foundation honors Thomas' spirit of random acts of kindness by inspiring others to initiate positive change within their communities.

Thomas was an avid and passionate car driver, hence the dual meaning of For A Good Turn.  His perseverance to graduate high school at the age of 21 as a TBI survivor - largely due to the encouragement and kindness of his business mentors, physical therapists and educators - proves the potential impact of kindness and community support. It is in his honor that we unite for this charitable tennis mixer, creating ripples of positive change that will flourish into far-reaching waves of compassion and generosity.
