About This Fundraiser
For more than 30 years, Michigan Sportsmen Against Hunger has served as a bridge between Michigan’s conservation community and our hunger relief network. As a 501(c)(3) all-volunteer organization, we coordinate hunters and professional wild game processors to donate and transform legally harvested deer into high-quality, nutritious ground venison for distribution through food banks, pantries, and soup kitchens statewide.
Our Annual Donation Drive helps us continue this vital work. Every contribution supports the processing and delivery of lean, protein-rich food at no cost to families who need it most, while also promoting responsible wildlife management and reducing food waste. The need has never been greater: more than 1,500,000 people in Michigan are food insecure, including more than one in five children. With your support, we can keep bringing healthy venison to our neighbors in need.
