About This Fundraiser
Welcome to our "Effective Black Parenting" fundraiser! We wanted to keep the momentum from Giving Tuesday going as we work to raise enough money to be able to get trained in the Effective Black Parenting Program; a culturally grounded, evidence-based curriculum designed to strengthen families through parenting strategies that honor and uplift Black culture, identity, and resilience. By completing this training, we’ll be able to offer culturally appropriate parenting support that helps prevent unnecessary family separations and equips parents with tools to nurture strong, healthy relationships with their children.
We are setting a goal of raising $2,000 to help our team become trained facilitators in the Effective Black Parenting Program — and we need your help to make it happen! This work aligns with our mission to empower and support Black families impacted by the child welfare system through education, advocacy, and healing-centered approaches.

Thank you so much to our wonderful donors and for your belief in our mission and goals as we continue to grow. Because of your donations we have raised 10% of our goal and are that much closer to being able to gain an offering of an evidence based program that will support families!
