In July 2026, The Gente Buena Foundation held our first free-of-charge pop-up health clinic in San Pedro de los Landeros (SPL). Over two days, our volunteer medical team saw 60 patients from SPL, El Medineño, and surrounding communities. Many left with months of medication for conditions that had gone untreated for years. When we returned for a follow-up clinic just two months later, the message from our patients was clear: "I feel better."
Two days changed lives. Help us give them a year.
The Gente Buena Foundation was built on a simple belief: don't show up with solutions until you've listened. When we began working in SPL, we asked the community what it needed most. The answers were clear: reliable water and health care. Every household in SPL now has 24/7 access to clean water. Health services are next.
