Booger is the sweetest little 2-year-old girl, and she needs us right now 💔
She came to us with a large growth that has taken over the left side of her face. It’s making it hard for her to breathe, affecting her vision, and even taking away her sense of smell—so she’s not eating enough to stay strong.
We are racing against time to get answers and give her a chance.
She urgently needs:
• Full blood panel
• Fungal PCR test
• Cryptococcus antigen test
• Aspiration of the growth
• Antibiotics, fluids, and appetite support
The vet is hopeful this isn’t cancer—but we won’t know without these critical tests.

Sweet little BOOGER got many major tests .... We spent every penny raised on all the diagnostic tests we could do...... BOOGER has Cryptococcosis the most common systemic fungal disease in cats, caused by inhaling Cryptococcus spores, which are often found in bird droppings...... It causes severe upper respiratory, nasal, cutaneous (skin), and neurological issues, requiring long-term treatment with antifungal medications like fluconazole. It is rarely contagious but can be fatal if not treated....... She started on Fluconazole, and this can take a year or more to remove from her sweet little face! We had to specially order a large jug of this in a compounded form. She takes this 2xs a day, and she is on food stimulation meds too - She cannot breathe well and stopped eating because she cannot smell anything. This is going to be a very LONG medical recovery journey! 💗THANK YOU ALL for helping BOOGER... Your support will get her through!
