AHOU is excited to help raise money for the victims of the January California Wildfires, and we need your support to make this fundraiser a success.
The California Community Foundation (CCF) ensures resources reach those most in need, leveraging partnerships with community organizations and government agencies. They prioritize underserved communities using data from CalFire and the CDC’s Social Vulnerability Index.
For the LA County wildfires, CCF activated their fund to address long-term recovery needs, supporting services like housing, case management, mental health, and medical care for displaced residents. They also aid in rebuilding essential infrastructure and offer financial disaster assistance, labor law education, and immigration services to low-wage workers and immigrant families. As of January 17th, CCF has raised over $30 million from generous donors, including major corporations, foundations, and more than 27,000 individuals.
AHOU will match up to $5000 of money raised.
