Advancing Equity, One Cup at a Time

Your support helps the Coffee Coalition for Racial Equity (CCRE) continue our mission to advance racial equity across the global coffee industry. Since 2020, we’ve been addressing historical and systemic barriers while creating pathways for leadership, mentorship, and education for Black and other underrepresented professionals throughout the coffee value chain.

Through your generosity, we are able to sustain and grow key initiatives such as:

• Brewing for Equity Fellowship – A US-based fellowship that equips emerging coffee professionals with the tools, networks, and knowledge to create meaningful change within the industry. Fellows engage in guided learning sessions, complete a capstone project, participate in an in-person workshop, and have the opportunity to attend the AFCA conference. 

• The First Sip! – Our signature fundraising and networking event that celebrates changemakers, builds community, and fuels our collective mission of creating a more equitable and inclusive coffee sector.

• Educational Outreach – Including the Brewing for Equity podcast and other learning initiatives that amplify diverse voices and perspectives across the industry.

Your donation directly supports:

• Travel, lodging, and participation costs for fellows attending in-person sessions and industry immersion experiences

• Program materials, facilitation, and guest speaker honorariums

• Capstone project funding and community impact grants

• Grants for international learning opportunities
