Francisco “Kiko” Trujillo is providing life-changing medical equipment and devices for people with disabilities in poverty-stricken areas along the US-Mexico border. Born and raised in Nogales, Mexico, Trujillo, an industrial engineer, co-founded Arizona Sonora Border Projects for Inclusion, known as ARSOBO. The group empowers low-income families through custom wheelchairs, prosthetics, hearing devices, and rehabilitation programs while also employing disabled individuals. Since 2014, ARSOBO has served nearly 3,500 people with disabilities.
