Seven years ago, Silver Stallion started with a simple idea — that a bike could change a life with improved mental health.

Since then, we’ve built more than a bike shop. We and our partners helped build $2 million worth of youth development cycling infrastructure across the Navajo Nation and surrounding communities. Our reach now spans a vast geography — from Gallup to the most remote Navajo schools — delivering access, mentorship, and movement.

With more than 20 partner supported in-school programs, we’ve turned classrooms into workshops, playgrounds into riding grounds. Students learn technical, social, and intellectual skills through bikes: repairing them, riding them, and discovering confidence with every pedal stroke.

Our Mobile Ride Center makes regular visits to schools and Chapters — repairing bikes, providing education, and hosting ride events that breathe fresh air and friendship into young lives. Across the Nation, we’ve now built 8 after-school bike clubs and 2 race teams — each one a hub of wellness, belonging, and joy.

Now, as we look toward the next chapter, we’re evolving from a grassroots initiative into a more structured, sustainable organization — one that can scale this impact even further.

This season, our goal is raise over $38,000 with some target goals:

• ●  $4,750 supports one Navajo Nation after-school Bike Club for a year

• ●  $1,125 supports one public Free Bike Repair event with 6+ mechanics deep on Navajo

• ●  $425 covers registration for one XC or Enduro Race Team participation per year

• ●  $2,080 supports one Park Tool School bike maintenance and repair instruction series
