Dance a Thon

Welcome to the "Dance-a-Thon" fundraiser, an exhilarating evening dedicated to support our local dancers future endeavors as well as Colorado West Ballet! Join us for an unforgettable night filled with dance, fun, and community spirit, all for a great cause. By participating, you'll be helping raise funds for local dancers to afford recital costumes, workshops, and more, while also supporting the Colorado West Ballet, a nonprofit organization committed to bringing professional ballet performances and outreach programs to Western Colorado and its rural communities.

Colorado West Performing Arts Company, operating as Colorado West Ballet, is passionate about making high-quality ballet accessible across the Western Slope. Through its dedication to producing professional ballet performances and offering educational outreach, the company provides performance opportunities for both professional and local pre-professional dancers, fostering a love for dance in underserved areas.

Join us on Saturday, February 21st, from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM for an exciting evening geared towards dancers, friends, and family ages 4 and up. Special arrangements are made for our youngest participants, aged 2 and 3, who can join in the fun with a parent or designated helper aged 11 or older. For just $20 per person, you'll enjoy an evening filled with dancing, games, and mouthwatering pizza. Delight in competing for prizes awarded to the top three participants!

Led by our esteemed director, Theresa Kahl, along with other talented instructors, you'll experience an evening of joy and movement. This event not only supports the dance aspirations of participants but also plays a vital role in sustaining the efforts of Western Colorado's local professional nonprofit ballet company.
