The Norris E. Class Professional Development and Research Fund provides enduring recognition of the outstanding contributions which Norris E. Class made to the field of licensing and regulation.

As approved by the Board of Directors, funds shall be used for professional development and research opportunities to ensure NARA’s position as the provider of professional development opportunities for human care licensing and regulatory professionals.

Activities may include, but are not limited to:

• Research in the general area of human care licensing and regulation;
• Presenting a lecture, research, or paper of significance at a NARA-approved event, forum, or seminar; and
• Awarding NARA licensing seminar scholarships.
