Coming Summer of 2027! (date TBA)

Join us for the Fourth Annual Van Hiller Rock and Roll Backyard BBQ, a free community celebration of food, music, and support for Breakthrough T1D. This fundraiser is especially meaningful to me as a late-diagnosed Type 1 diabetic, and it’s a chance to bring family, friends, neighbors, and the community together for a great cause.

We’re proud to continue building on the success of past years, having raised over $3,000 for the American Diabetes Association in 2025 and over $5,500 for Breakthrough T1D in 2026. Our goal for 2027 is to raise $7,500 to help advance research, improve treatments, and move closer to a cure for type 1 diabetes.

Enjoy great food, live music, young and upcoming artists, and a pro band—all while supporting Breakthrough T1D’s mission to find a cure for T1D and its complications. Come out, have fun, and help make a difference!
