Suon’s Hearthside Coffee: One Cup, One Memory, One Hope

In honor of my mother, who is living with dementia, I am turning something I do every day into a way to fight back with love and hope. Watching someone you love slowly change is heartbreaking, and there are days when the confusion, repetition, and forgetting feel unbearably heavy. But in the middle of all of this, there are still smiles, small moments of connection, and a deep, unshakable love that dementia cannot erase.

That is why I’ve decided to donate 5% of all my coffee sales to support dementia and Alzheimer’s care, resources, and research. With every cup, we are not just getting through the day—we are standing with families like mine, helping caregivers, and investing in a future where fewer people have to walk this road.

My mother may forget names, places, or the day of the week, but I will never forget what she has given me: warmth, strength, and the belief that even small acts can matter. This pledge is my way of saying thank you to her and yes to hope.
