Giving Tuesday 2022

Over the next 6 months, Connectopod is partnering with New Directions for Youth in North Hollywood, CA for a multi-media art project. We will work with youth served at New Directions for Youth to tell the story of North Hollywood from their unique perspective. Students will work with world-renowned muralist, Levi Ponce, to create a concept for the mural, and will paint it on the wall of the building that houses their afterschool program. Students will work with Connectopod to create a podcast series documenting their art ideas and stories of their neighborhood.

We've already raised 50% of the funds needed for this project. We need your help to reach our goal of raising the remaining $10,000 needed to make this project a reality. Will you consider supporting media arts programming for students in underserved neighborhoods?

Since 2017, Connectopod has harnessed the power of media arts to connect youth to what's possible. We have worked with over 300 students across Los Angeles and collaborated with over a dozen schools, youth-serving organizations, and libraries to reach young people.
