Join Us in Transforming Lives This Giving Tuesday
At Bates Mission, we work hard to empower young adults aging out of foster care in Texas by providing essential household necessities, comprehensive life skills training, and meaningful job opportunities. We strive to create a supportive and inclusive environment where every young adult feels accepted, valued, and equipped to build a stable, independent future.
Your generosity this Giving Tuesday will help us provide even more essential resources and celebrate more personal milestones for young adults transitioning out of foster care.
WHY YOUR SUPPORT MATTERS
We're using our fundraiser to accomplish two goals:
- Expand Sheila’s Supply Closet: Your donation helps us extend our essential household necessities program into two new housing partners in Houston, supporting an additional 40 young adults as they begin their independent journeys.
- Fund the Gifts and Celebrations Program: Help us launch a program dedicated to celebrating personal milestones such as birthdays and holidays, fostering a sense of community and belonging for these young adults.
