Chapter 12: Go BEEYOND for Change

When leadership tables still do not reflect the world we live in, the message is clear: women and girls are still fighting to take our seats.

Women earn nearly half of all master’s degrees in business and management, yet hold fewer than 15% of top executive roles. Women of color make up less than 5% of those positions. Even at a record high, fewer than 11% of Fortune 500 CEOs are women.
This is not about talent—it’s about access.

For 12 years, BEE Club has worked to create that access early—through mentorship, service, and leadership training. Our girls are proving every day that when given space to grow, their confidence and courage can change the world.

Through our BEEYOND Leaders Program, girls engage in biweekly life skills sessions and community workshops, connect with mentors, build real-world skills, and explore leadership opportunities that reach beyond the classroom. They learn how to use their voices, build resilience, and lead with empathy—gaining the tools to lead today and lead change tomorrow.

This past year has presented challenges—funding delays, program restructuring, and the loss of sustainable meeting space for our members. Yet our commitment has never wavered. We’ve stretched every dollar to keep our mission alive and continue to create spaces where girls feel seen, heard, and supported.

Now we begin our next chapter.
