At Friends of the Inyo, we work every day to protect and care for the public lands and waters of California’s Eastern Sierra through stewardship, advocacy, and education. Your support helps our Trail Ambassadors serve across the Inyo National Forest by repairing trails, packing out trash, and sharing Leave No Trace education, along with offering free interpretive hikes for visitors and residents.
We also advocate to protect places like Conglomerate Mesa and the Bodie Hills from threats such as mining, and we work for water justice in Payahuunadu. By partnering with local agencies, tribes, land managers, nonprofits, and community members, we help ensure the Eastern Sierra remains healthy, resilient, and protected for generations to come.
