Help Fund Commissary Accounts for Immigrants in ICE Prisons

Immigration detention centers (ICE prisons) are designed to isolate immigrants from their lawyers and families. This isolation, combined with often horrific conditions, is designed to get people to give up hope that they can ever get out of custody or win their case.  This campaign supports men, women and child clients of Immigrant Defenders Law Center (ImmDef) who are currently in ICE detention facilities so they can access basic commissary items including phone cards/access, hygiene products, food and stamps to correspond with their lawyers. 

These resources can make a meaningful difference in protecting people’s well-being during an incredibly difficult time. Having funds in your commissary account can literally create a lifeline for people in ICE detention, help keep families together and hope alive.
