In Honour of AJ: Always Be Kind. Give To People.

About This Fundraiser

For AJ. Always Be Kind. Give to People.

On 3 July 2026, we lost one of the most important and foundational members of the Michael Jackson community, AJ, the woman behind @andjustice4some. Her absence has been felt deeply throughout a community she helped shape and hold together for almost sixteen years. AJ had been such a constant presence that it is difficult to imagine this community without her voice in it. She was someone we trusted and looked to, and a beacon of light whose conviction and compassion reached people all over the world.

For sixteen years, she remained steadfast in that purpose. She studied court records, followed legal proceedings, challenged dehumanising media narratives and helped others distinguish evidence from noise. From early initiatives such as “It’s Jackson, Not Jacko” to the worldwide #MichaelJacksonInnocent campaigns, AJ became a trusted presence in a community that often felt the truth was being buried beneath sensationalism.

That same instinct was especially apparent during the pandemic. Through #HealTheWorld2020, AJ helped unite fans across countries in expressing gratitude to healthcare workers and extending support to those who were frightened, unwell or alone. To AJ, Michael’s humanitarian message was not simply something to repeat. It was something to practise.

After her passing, these simple words were shared in her honour.

“Always be kind, give to people, and let’s get Thriller number one.”

This fundraiser is our way of carrying that sentiment forward.

We are raising money in AJ’s honour for Heal Los Angeles Foundation, whose work creates educational opportunities and meaningful support for young people in Los Angeles. Its mission reflects the values AJ held closely, including compassion, service and the belief that our concern for others should move us to action.

To donate in AJ’s honour is not only to remember what she gave to this community. It is to allow the good she set in motion to continue in somebody else’s life.

If AJ’s work ever informed you, reassured you, brought you into this community or reminded you of what we could achieve together, please consider giving what you can. If you are unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser will help it reach the global community she spent so many years bringing together.
