A volunteer crisis counselor at one of the thousands of independently verified, safe resources available on the free InReach App talks every week with LGBTQ+ youth across the country who are in crisis.

In 27 states, there are no explicit statewide laws protecting people from discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity in employment, housing and public accommodations. Especially alarming are recent efforts to restrict access to critical resources, services, school and social activities used by LGBTQ+ people. Such climates result directly in reduced resources and increased mental anguish for a population already struggling for full social acceptance and equality.
This year, over 300 anti-LGBTQ+ bills have been filed in states across the country, the majority targeting the trans community. You can protest by supporting InReach. We are a trans-led nonprofit increasing access to safe, verified resources for the diverse LGBTQ+ community.

Connect LGBTQ+ asylum seekers, refugees, and other immigrants to verified, safe legal services, translation and interpretation assistance and language classes, trauma-informed mental health care providers, and more;
Connect LGBTQ+ young people experiencing homelessness and others facing family or community rejection due to their identity to safe housing, food and clothing, drop-in centers, affirming spiritual support and other critical resources;
Connect transgender and nonbinary people to lifesaving gender affirming care, support groups, safe housing, gender-neutral restrooms and legal providers with expertise in working with TGNC clients;
Connect other LGBTQ+ people facing persecution and discrimination across the country with verified, affirming support near them.
