Investing in the Nigerian Child

Hello – AWLPOF (Adiels Widows & Less Privileged Women Outreach Foundation, https://www.awlpof.org  is a nonprofit organization based in Nigeria.  We are committed to supporting widows, orphans, vulnerable children, and less privileged families through education support, empowerment programs, health awareness, and community outreach initiatives.

One of our major ongoing projects is the AWLPOF School Fees Drive, which has been running successfully for the past four years. Through the support of compassionate individuals and partners, we have been able to keep 256 vulnerable children in school, giving many orphans and children of widows the opportunity to continue their education despite severe financial hardship. For many of these children, this support has meant the difference between remaining in school and dropping out completely.

This September, we are expanding the campaign with a goal to sponsor 200 more children for one full academic year. It costs just $50 to keep one child in school for an entire year, covering school fees and essential educational support. Every donation made towards this fundraiser directly changes a child’s future by providing access to education, hope, confidence, and a chance for a better life.

At AWLPOF, we strongly believe that no child should lose access to education because of poverty or the loss of a parent. Every contribution, whether large or small, helps us move closer to ensuring that vulnerable children remain in the classroom and continue building brighter futures for themselves and their communities.
