Meet Jazzy — The One Who Found Her Way Back Home
Jazzy’s journey is one of coming full circle—of a horse who was never meant to be, yet was always meant to belong. We first met her as a young, spirited “whoops” baby beside her half-sister Rose, and though we went our separate ways, something about her stayed with us. Through unexpected twists, second chances, and the kindness of a friend who refused to let her fall through the cracks, Jazzy found her way back—this time for good. From uncertainty and a difficult situation, she returned to a place of safety, reunited with her sister and given the promise of a forever home. With her sassy personality, striking blue eyes, and wild mane, Jazzy now brings joy, connection, and a little bit of spark to everyone she meets. Her story is a reminder that some souls are meant to find their way back to where they are loved most—and when they do, they never have to leave again.

Jazzy’s Journey
Some horses come into your life once… and some are meant to come back. We first met Jazzy the same day we met Rose. She was a “whoops” baby—never meant to be, but oh so meant to matter. Just a yearling at the time, we still have a video of her running freely with her little herd, learning how to be a “real” horse under the watchful eye of her big half-sister, Rose.
There was something about her. Something that stayed with me… even though I never imagined I would see her again. Then one day, I was visiting a friend who excitedly shared she had just gotten a new miniature horse named Jazzy. What were the chances? Somehow, out of all the horses… it was her. Rose’s little sister had found her way back into our world. Our friend did an incredible job with Jazzy—training her to drive and helping her grow. When it came time to find her a new home, we trusted Jazzy would land somewhere wonderful. At the time, we simply weren’t in a position to bring her in ourselves. But life had other plans.
One evening, we received a call. Jazzy had ended up in a “bad” situation and was once again in need of somewhere safe. Our friend asked, “If I get her back, will you take her?” There was no hesitation. “Yes.”
And
just like that… Jazzy came home.
A Forever Promise Kept
Not long after, Jazzy was reunited with Rose—this time with a promise that neither of them would ever have to wonder where they belonged again.
They couldn’t be more different:
Yet together, they are something truly special.
When their breeder learned that both girls were together and safe, she sent word before she passed that she was deeply grateful. That meant everything—to know a promise had come full circle. And what our friend did for Jazzy… bringing her back from an uncertain path… was truly a gift. She even helped us continue working with Jazzy, helping her move through fear and into trust.
Jazzy Today
Today, Jazzy lives the life every horse deserves:
She and Rose spend their days together—often dressed up, connecting with humans both big and small, bringing smiles, laughter, and moments of joy. Jazzy may have had an uncertain path, but she chose to trust again. And now, she gives that gift back to every person she meets.
