Welcome to the Project Hope fundraiser page, where every dollar raised goes directly towards breaking the cycle of violence and building a sanctuary of hope and healing for survivors of domestic violence. Your contribution plays a pivotal role in supporting License To Freedom, a beacon of support for the diverse immigrant and refugee communities within San Diego. Our Mission

At License To Freedom, our mission is clear: to promote peaceful, loving, and safe relationships. We stand as advocates and allies for those who have been marginalized and silenced. We provide services and strategies that nurture resilience and self-sufficiency, steering survivors towards a path of healing from trauma and violence. Importantly, we are steadfast in our advocacy for equity and justice for all individuals, creating a community where everyone can thrive.

Purpose of the Fundraiser

This fundraiser is dedicated to supporting and expanding our Domestic Violence (DV) Shelter services. The funds raised will directly contribute to securing safe shelter, comprehensive healing resources, and vital support services for survivors. By lifting these barriers, we can help individuals and families rebuild their lives, free from fear and intimidation.  In collaboration with the Transborder Coalition, Project Hope is License to Freedom's DV Shelter supporting women and children escaping violence.  All residents in the shelter must have a current VAWA visa and children under aged 12 and agree to participate in License to Freedom's DV case management.
