This benefit fund is part of a larger activation supporting recording artist BYHAZE whose film, Clovis Lane, and album explore his personal journey — including immigration, loss, and returning to Jamaica to reconnect with family.
Clovis lane is a sonic and visual offering that explores themes of grief, healing, belonging, and maternal memory. The accompanying experimental documentary, directed by creative producer Zunyda (https://www.zunyda.com/), weaves together documentary-style vignettes, voice notes, archival photos, and atmospheric footage shot in Jamaica—offering a rare look into a Black man’s journey through loss and transformation.
With the recent impact of Hurricane Melissa on Jamaica, we decided to use this moment to give back. Proceeds go to organizations supporting disaster relief efforts in communities of St. Elizabeth, Westmoreland & Trelawny that have been impacted greatly by the hurricane.
