Another Awesome Day is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. We build free programs and resources for teens and young adults.
We believe suicide prevention starts long before a crisis, and we take a holistic approach. Young people today are growing up in a confusing and sometimes dangerous digital world. We don't tell them to put the phone down. We teach them to use it with purpose, from crypto to digital advocacy to safe AI interactions. A young person with skills, mentors, community and a clear path forward has every reason to keep going and have another awesome day. That's what we build.
Our programs fall into three areas:
- STEAM Education: technology, art, music and film
- Economic Literacy for the Digital Era: digital and financial literacy for a changing economy
- Mental Health and Wellness: mentors, peer support circles and wellness resources
Our Prosperous Pathways programs, like Media Impact Academy, turn those skills into careers, workforce training and real opportunities to earn and grow. Our flagship program, Youth Basel, runs every year in Miami during Art Week. Past years have included hands-on workshops, talking circles, field day, a self-care lounge, live music, celebrity guest speakers, food and giveaways. This year has a few surprises we'll share soon.
This work happens alongside our Miami partners. Your donation goes through Pledge to Another Awesome Day and our local partner nonprofits directly. It funds the programs, supplies, food and opportunities that reach young people directly.

Remember the energy, the smiles, the moments of real connection at Youth Basel? We're doing it again—and we need you.
Youth Basel 3 is happening December 5th (3-6pm at Dorsey Memorial Library)—our flagship event celebrating creativity, community, and positive mental health during Miami Art Week. We're proud to support students from First Take Film Program and Florida Film House, giving them tools for creative expression and emotional wellness.
This year, we're expanding: Youth Basel Miami: Dec 5 at Dorsey Memorial Library
Youth Basel Homestead: Dec 15 (~200 additional youth served)
Mental health circles + creative workshops
Sound healing, field day activities, live music & more
Free for all teens who need community and hope
How you can help:
- Volunteer at either event (setup, activities, or support)
