The World-Famous Misplaced Priorities are celebrating the fourth decade of our “Around the Block Tour,”. The band was forged humbly around campfires with friends and family. They have entertained in countless backyards up and down the 210 corridor and beyond. They play music of your past—almost like you remember it —with songs spanning 1960 to 2026, including Classic Rock, Folk, Pop, Latin, Country, Blues, and Jazz, offering something for everyone to dance to.
Their mission is to raise money for charities, reaching over $1 million through their iconic “Taco and Tunes” auction item, which includes a taco cart, margaritas for 30 from Los Gringos Locos, and live music. You can hear the fun!
Now they have placed their fundraising focus on Altadena Musicians a fiscally sponsored nonprofit organization supporting musicians and music lovers impacted by the LA Fires. Every dollar goes to support the Instrumental Giving App (an instrument replacement program), the Record Shop (where fire survivors shop for free to rebuild their lost LP collections) and the Altadena Music Center (the performance venue where all the magic happens!)
