We are experiencing a second incarceration targeting non-white races that President Reagan and Congress vowed would never happen again after our Japanese neighbors were brutally incarcerated after WWII! We all must object and support those we can! We cannot allow families and children to be traumatized for life once again.
Our Mutual Aid Fund exists to provide immediate, flexible, and community-led support to immigrant families and individuals facing harm due to immigration enforcement, detention, displacement, and other urgent crises across the Central Coast. As enforcement escalates, families are being torn apart with little warning—leaving loved ones without income, transportation, childcare, food, or access to legal support. Mutual aid allows us to respond quickly and humanely, meeting people where they are, without unnecessary barriers or delays. Funds raised will go directly to feeding families on the ground, supporting trusted grassroots groups such as Collectivo Mariposa (North Santa Barbara County), Red Esperanza (South Santa Barbara County), Monarchs del Ocho Zero Cinco (Ventura County) and other community-led efforts responding to the immediate harm caused by ICE terror and family separation.
This fund is rooted in collective care, dignity, and solidarity. It recognizes that when systems fail our communities, we take care of each other.Every contribution is tax deductible and directly strengthens our community’s ability to respond, protect one another, and survive moments of intense harm with dignity.
