Supporting Local Nonprofits Serving Our Immigrant Neighbors

Undocumented and mixed-status families face unimaginable barriers—increased immigration enforcement, lost income, education gaps, and emergencies—many traditional safety nets have become unsafe or lost funding. In a rising anti-immigrant climate, we must act. By contributing to this fundraiser, you'll be directly supporting two local incredible organizations: the Florence Immigrant & Refugee Rights Project and the JUNTOS Fund,

The Florence Immigrant & Refugee Rights Project is committed to providing free legal and social services to detained adults and unaccompanied children facing immigration removal proceedings in Arizona. Their vital work ensures that our immigrant neighbors receive the legal support they deserve and helps them navigate complex immigration systems during challenging times.

Sunnyside Foundation is raising $500,000 to establish JUNTOS Fund-a mutual fund to provide direct cash assistance through a community referral-based model to undocumented families all across Tucson, AZ. JUNTOS is managed by the Sunnyside Foundation Immigrant Support Steering Committee, a coalition of organizations and nonprofits assessing and referring families to Juntos Fund for support with emergent needs such as legal fees, emergency expenses, education, and mental health support.

You can act now to create a tangible, local impact in the face of so many challenges. By donating. you empower both of these community organizations in their efforts to support our immigrant neighbors. By donating, you support dignity, access to justice, and safety for our immigrant neighbors.

Thank you for being a neighbor who cares and takes action. Every contribution helps bring us one step closer to our goal and furthers the missions of these organizations that are making a tangible difference in the lives of those they serve. Join us in standing up for our immigrant community by supporting these two groups.

*All proceeds from donations will be split 50/50 between FIRRP and the JUNTOS Fund unless otherwise noted*
