Welcome to the fundraiser page for "Norm," (Quarter Horse gelding) a dedicated initiative aimed at supporting this beautiful gelding in continuing to lead a supportive and healthy life. We invite you to join us in this heartfelt mission to ensure that "Norm" receives the care and love he deserves, all while benefiting the incredible nonprofit organization, Melody's Haven of Hope at Oregon Horsemanship.  

Retired from a cutting horse career and looking for a new job, "Norm" came to us by way of a friend. When he needed a new home, we were excited to welcome him to our barn family. Thanks to his special people he has overcome much of his anxiety- except for dinner time!- and is loving his new life as teacher and partner for another generation of horse lovers. We continue to make sure physically he is given the care he needs to continue a long, happy, comfortable life helping humans. We understood his original trainers wanted to retire him before he needed the extra care as he aged while working thru his past experiences. "Norm" will receive special care such as body work, acupuncture, special fitting tack, and arthritis medication and he will get the maintenance and all he needs with us at Oregon Horsemanship.
