On August 4th, 2024, our village in Nimina, Burkina Faso was attacked by armed bandits. The attack resulted in the kidnapping and killing of loved ones, including my brothers Toni Richard and Toni Jean Michel who were kidnapped and not heard from. The village including my mother and other family have been forced to flee, leaving behind their homes, means of livelihood, and the community infrastructure. Learn more about the attack on this article.
We urgently need your support. The immediate focus of this fundraiser is to provide water and food for those who have fled and have had little to no access to these essentials since the attack. Please consider donating and sharing with your community.
Once these urgent needs are met, we will redirect the funds to support new orphans and rebuild our mission of helping children achieve their full potential through education, clean water, and positive role models.
Your contributions will make a significant difference in the lives of those affected by this tragedy. Together, we can help the villagers of Nimina find hope and rebuild their future. Thank you for your generosity and compassion. Tax Receipts will be provided for your contributions to our foundation.Β
Water The Seeds Foundation: The goal of Water the Seeds Foundation is to help children from no-income families reach their full potential by giving them the opportunity to pursue their education with the help of positive role models. We want to provide inspiration through our team and to show young children that education is especially important in accomplishing their life goals. We hope to improve each childβs life by keeping them involved in school, supporting their interests, and encouraging their talents.
Good evening Team,
I want to share this little news update about my village. As you all know today is the three-month anniversary of the attack. The local government law enforcement has led the people of my village with security measures in place to harvest the crops in their fields. Today was the first day and they are planning to return tomorrow morning and for the next two weeks or more to harvest.
Last night I had a good dream about my brothers and the rest of the people that were returned to the village after three months in captivity. So please continue to pray for them that God The Father and our Lord Jesus Christ WILL BE DONE. For me, I still have faith in Him and in Jesus Christ.
God is Good!!!
Good Evening Team,
I hope you are all doing well by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. I want to share some updates about the August 4, 2024 attack on my village. First of all, thank you so much for all your support and prayers. Itβs been 56 days since the village attack and evacuation. The Lord is still with us through all our prayers and loves us very much.
For the past few weeks, government law enforcement has been working very hard. They have arrested three people providing new information about the attack. We hope to hear more from the investigation of my village. Again, I am sure my brothers are still alive and I have been dreaming about them more often.
GOD IS STILL GOOD and still loves us. I believe he will be done soon enough and will see my brothers and the rest of the people from my village. Please continue to pray for his power to be revealed again and again for the whole world to see kindness and compassion for all of us. Amen ππΏ Amen ππΏ
Today is a new day, and I hope you are doing well. I want to express my gratitude for your continued prayers for me, my family, and our village. I recently received an update from the local law enforcement agency regarding the situation in our village. They had a significant confrontation with a terrorist group in the forest while searching for the villagers, and unfortunately, some law enforcement officers lost their lives in the encounter. As of now, we have no information about the well-being or whereabouts of the villagers. We are anxiously awaiting any news. Additionally, the local police entered our village with the residents to gather whatever food and any belongings that were left behind. However, despite these challenges, I find comfort in the fact that God reigns over all circumstances, both today and forever. Amen π
