Small family farmers and farmworkers are suffering through a period of extreme drought and heat wave.
As the largest agricultural producer in the nation, California farms feed America, but the Sierra snowpack this year is at 59% of its historical average, rainfall is at record lows, and temperatures are at record highs. The farming community is suffering physically, mentally, spiritually, and economically through one of its hottest and driest years in more than a century.
Please join us as we pray for rain and give what you can in support of small family-owned farms in this time of crisis by donating to the CAFF California Family Farmers Emergency Fund.
Since 1978, Community Alliance with Family Farmers (CAFF) has been dedicated to creating more resilient family farms, communities and ecosystems. The California-based nonprofit builds sustainable food and farming systems through on-the-ground programs, educational events and conferences, networking building, and grassroots policy advocacy.
Pray.com will match all donations dollar-for-dollar up to $25,000 if you donate by October 31, 2021.
