In my 30s, I lived and worked in Darfur, Sudan for more than a year as an aid worker. It breaks my heart to think of the Civil War now engulfing the country, forcing thousands of people, especially children, to flee their homes and face hunger, illness and war. Recent devastating floods in Sudan have caused even more suffering to the Sudanese people. Please consider a donation to SAPA, a group of Sudanese American doctors supporting the emergency response in Sudan through critical medical supplies, live-giving medical care and emergency training of Sudanese medical personnel still in Sudan.
Let’s come together and show our Sudanese brothers and sisters in need that they are not alone. Together, we’ll heal a community and bring hope where it’s needed the most.
