In 2014, StreetCode Academy started as a program of Live In Peace in the heart of East Palo Alto. Within two years, the community demand for our program confirmed the magnitude of the digital divide.
In 2016, we grew from a program to our own 501c3 non-profit organization and expanded the ages we serve, the classes we offered, and the regions we reached.
Today marks the fifth year anniversary of our organization’s start. Today we celebrate who we are, remember how far we’ve come, and imagine where we might go in the future.
