This fundraiser is aligned with the <Raksha School Donation Drive and Walk of Solidarity with Survivors> an event that rallies the community to walk in honor of survivors of violence, celebrates their journeys, and collects school supplies for students. The Walk and Drive honors the courageous journey of one survivor of domestic violence who broke free from abuse and made sure her children got the education they needed to thrive.
Now in addition to walking to honor survivors' stories, you can make a gift that can double the resources and healing we can provide survivors - even after the Walk is over. Thanks to a generous donor who has offered to match donations to this fundraiser - dollar for dollar up to $1,000!
Raksha (meaning “protection”) is a Georgia-based nonprofit serving the South Asian American community since 1995 through confidential support, education, and advocacy. Raksha works towards healing, empowerment and justice for South Asian American survivors of violence. Your donation directly supports this mission.
