Support Free Art Classes for Young Minds!

Welcome to the Springfield Art Museum’s Giving Tuesday 2024 Campaign. We're thrilled to have you join us!

This Giving Tuesday, we invite you to help ignite the creativity of our community's youngest artists by supporting free weekly open studio art classes for Pre-K children. Early art education plays a critical role in a child's development. It nurtures curiosity, fosters self-expression, and helps young learners explore and understand the world around them in unique and meaningful ways.

Starting in February 2025, each week a professional teaching artist will lead dynamic, hands-on art sessions designed to inspire and engage Pre-K children and their caregivers. Through color, texture, and imagination, these classes encourage children to express themselves and build new ways of thinking, while also providing valuable social and collaborative experiences.

These open studios have become a vital part of our community, reaching over 350 children each season. As demand grows, so does the need to expand our offerings, and that’s where you come in.

Our goal this year is to raise $3,000 to fund an entire season of spring art classes for these budding artists. Your donation will ensure these classes remain free and accessible to all families, regardless of income.

With your support, we can continue to inspire creativity, spark wonder, and help children develop essential skills that will benefit them for years to come. Every contribution—large or small—brings us closer to our goal of making art a powerful tool for early learning.
